Well, hello again! Black Friday and Cyber Monday are upon us once more, and I am running a sale on my new crochet hat pattern, "The Frostiest Snowman", available on Etsy and Ravelry. The sale will end on Monday, December 1, 2014, at 11:59 pm. Funktional Threads Giveaway Winner Results...

Thank you to all who joined us in the giveaway for a free pattern from Funktional Threads! The giveaway ended at midnight last night CST, but the times posted on Blogger seem to be PDT. Therefore, I am sorry that anyone who posted after that cannot be counted as it would not be fair to those who posted before the deadline time, but maybe we will have another giveaway soon. ;) Also, if you posted more than once, your first post is the only one that will be counted...

Funktional Threads Sewing Pattern Giveaway!

We've got a great giveaway for you today! Lisa Williams, of Funktional Threads, has some amazing PDF clothing patterns for kids. The winner gets her/his choice of three patterns found in "Funktional Threads" Etsy shop.

I have actually purchased one of her patterns, and I am a novice sewer, but the instructions are very well written, and I look forward to making many garments with her patterns! :)

What has SHB been up to lately?

I have been working on new designs, and I will also be making some garments from patterns designed by my friend Alla Koval of My Little Citygirl. A lot is in the works for me this time of year and there are many new designs to come for the Fall/Winter season...

Also, SHB is working on a "Princess Bolero Line"...you have already seen "Tiana"; now, get ready for "Cinderella" and "Snow White" for this season as well as a "Mad Hattress" Sweater and Mini Top Hat set! ;) The "Cinderella" will be an amazing collaboration with my friend Shawnta of Mamigirl Boutique...I am really looking forward to this one!
